Career Breakthrough "Before working with Dawn on imposter syndrome, I always felt like an outsider in my own career. During and after the sessions with Dawn, the feelings of being a fake and self-doubt continued to fade away. Now, I feel confident and have a sense of belonging. I know beyond a shadow of doubt that my achievements are truly mine. I've since landed a promotion and now confidently lead my team, knowing I belong here." — Desiree, CMO - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 9

Academic Achievement "I was skeptical at first. Then I thought, "what do I have to loose because nothing else is working". Dawn is the "Beliefs Engineer" for Imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome feelings held me back throughout grad school. I constantly feared being found out. With the help of Dawn, I learned that the cause stemmed from some experiences as a child and the pressure of grad school. Shedding imposter feelings was like letting birds out of a cage gradually over the weeks we worked together. It was enormously freeing." — Jason, PhD Graduate - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 8

Creative Confidence "As an artist, I always questioned if my work was good enough. Imposter syndrome made me my own worst critic. Therapy and support groups helped me manage imposter feelings and feel supported. Until working with Dawn, it never occurred to me that I could feel good enough, naturally.  I've learned to trust my creative instincts. Today, my art is displayed in galleries, and I no longer shy away from sharing my voice." — Emma, Visual Artist - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 7

Entrepreneurial Success "Starting my own business was daunting because I felt like a fraud. I kept waiting for someone to tell me I wasn’t cut out for it. But with the help of Dawn, I’ve turned that inner critic into a supportive ally. Uncovering the cause of feeling like a fraud since my youth, stemmed back to my relationship with my father who expected everything to be perfect. The stress of this was unbearable as a child. Thanks to Dawn, my business is thriving, and so am I." — Daniel, Startup Founder - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 8

Public Speaking "Imposter syndrome used to paralyze me before every public speaking event. I would spend hours second-guessing myself. The cause dated back to an experience when I was 5. I was with a group of friends who kept questioning why I was doing something. Dawn helped me update how I identified with myself. Now, I look forward to public speaking. AMAZING!" — Mariah, Motivational Speaker - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 9

Leadership Growth "When I was promoted to a leadership position, I felt like I wasn’t worthy of the role. Imposter syndrome had me doubting every decision I made. I tried CBT with my therapist. It was somewhat helpful, although I still felt unworthy.   Working with Dawn has transformed my feeling unworthiness to feeling confident and happy. It felt like a huge wait was lifted off my shoulders. As a child I learned to feel unworthy from never getting recognition for my efforts. I’ve grown into the leader I knew I could be, and my team’s performance has never been better." — Ahmed, Scrum Master | Agile Coach - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 8

Personal Development "Imposter syndrome used to make me feel small in social settings, like I didn't measure up to others. I tried self-development books and positive affirmations, it was constant effort just to keep my head above water. What Dawn does is magical because the process triggers new supportive beliefs without much effort on my part. I don't have to do or think about anything after our sessions. Who knew! Now, I walk into rooms with my head held high." — Chivy, HR - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 7

Professional Success "I had imposter syndrome and was becoming more depressed and detached from my family, friends, and colleagues.  I thought imposter syndrome was an irreversible mental illness.  Dawn helped my subconscious release my meanings around the label. I felt more optimistic.  During our sessions, I found out I had some experiences as a child that caused the limiting beliefs making me feel like a fraud and incompetent.  Finally, I feel good about himself.  I'm now able to connect authentically with my family, friends, and colleagues."   —  Veer, a CTO  -  Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 7

Direct Confidence "Imposter syndrome felt like quicksand. Sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss with no way out. I tried all the tricks and tips. It was exhausting.  Dawn is fabulous! Her approach really works. Dawn noticed one of the main causes that led to imposter syndrome feelings was a favorite Disney movie I had watched over and over as a child. It's funny how a child's mind interprets information.  I no longer second-guess myself. I finally feel confident in my skills and abilities. No more feeling like I'm pretending to be good at my job. My ability to direct others is a joy now. Dawn can help you."  —  Seth, Creative Director - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 8

Team Success "Imposter syndrome is the fraud not me. I used to feel inadequate in every meeting, but now I confidently share my ideas. As I was working with Dawn, my co-workers and manger noticed that I was calmer and more outgoing. Sometimes people liked my ideas and other times they didn't and I was ok with that. Before, I was so afraid that if people didn't like all my ideas that they would think I didn't deserve to be on the team. Dawn is highly skilled, kind, and fun. I loved working with her. I hope you get a chance to work with Dawn, too."  —  Sophia, Software Engineer -  Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 9

Academic Mentorship "As a new professor, I felt unworthy of my position. Imposter syndrome had me questioning if I truly belonged in academia. I realized while working with Dawn the feeling of unworthiness started back in grade school. I’ve embraced my role because I now feel worthy and have a sense of belonging. The "Break Free"  method is the holy grail of imposter syndrome" — Dr. Olivia, University Professor - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 9

I’ve found strength in my uniqueness and now celebrate the diversity I bring to my work and life with ease." — Miguel, Investor - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 9

Management Upleveling "As a child, I would do my very best and receive all kinds of recognition for my accomplishments. My father never gave me any credit and always thought I could do better. I became an anxiety ridden perfectionist that eventually morphed into thoughts and behaviors that are under the label "imposter syndrome. Dawn was very present, kind, and truly cared about me. She found the root cause experiences causing imposter syndrome. She has a very effective and interesting approach that helped rewire my subconscious. This finally freed me from a lifelong struggle with imposter syndrome.  The people I manage and my superiors have noticed a big improvement in my mood and work performance." — Mary - Senior Management  - Improvement Scale 1 - 10 (10 Highest) 8

I highly recommend working with Dawn" — Kevin, Sales Consultant and Father of Two - Improvement Scale - 1 - 10 (10 Highest) - 9

"Helping You Feel More Deserving & Competent"

Imposter Syndrome Defined

When someone has impostor syndrome, they experience repeated feelings or thoughts that they are incompetent or not good enough, despite evidence to the contrary. These beliefs often have roots in someone's personal history and tend to play out in work, academic, and other high-pressure settings.

  • Do you crave to feel like your achievements are deserved and not a result of luck or deception?

  • Do you desire to build genuine confidence in your abilities and to believe in yourself without constantly doubting your competence?

  • Do you yearn to feel like you truly belong in your professional and personal spaces, rather than feeling like a fraud who doesn't deserve to be there?

  • Do you seek relief from the persistent self-doubt and fear of being "found out" as inadequate?

  • Do you want to develop a more balanced and realistic perspective of your skills, contributions, and worth, instead of constantly downplaying your successes?

  • Do you imagine what it would be like to find a solution that sets you free of the doomsday feelings of imposter syndrome?

If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, I'm here to help you.

Your limiting beliefs are to you what kryptonite is to superman!

Demystifying Imposter Syndrome: It's quite simple, research shows that the cause of imposter syndrome stems mainly from childhood experiences which formed meanings that created limiting beliefs that cause the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that is labelled imposter syndrome.  Fortunately,  I've developed an innovative practical Done -For-You 3-Step "Break Free Method"TM that will help you live a life without imposter syndrome.

The #1 Way to STOP Imposter Syndrome in Its Tracks

Written By: Dawn Dawson

"You're not who you think you are. You’re so much more!"

PLUS...

1. Imposter syndrome: The diagnosis and labeling that adds fuel to the fire.

2. Find out how feeling like a fake relates to the universal limiting core belief of all humans.

3. Discover how removing the label of imposter syndrome and addressing the root cause of the behavior will skyrocket your confidence.

Heck, you may even start feeling competent.

Research shows about 75% of professionals experience imposter syndrome at some point in their careers. These are professionals who are completely competent and still feel like frauds who don’t deserve their accomplishments. In addition to the stress caused by the symptoms of imposter syndrome, these professionals have been diagnosed and labeled as if their symptoms are somehow more damaging than other challenges, such as procrastination and lack of money.

The act of making these symptoms into a syndrome and adding the word "imposter" suggests a criminal tone, adding an unnecessary layer of challenges that professionals must bear.  In my professional opinion, this label makes the symptoms seem more detrimental than they really are.

You may feel like a phony, undeserving or not belonging, unable to assess your own competence, agonize over mistakes and flaws, fear of not living up to expectations, doubt yourself, and feel like everyone else is better than you are.

In my 20 years of experience working with the subconscious and self-sabotage, everyone I have ever worked with had at least a couple of these symptoms. The characteristics of imposter syndrome are common among humans. If you think you are one of the 75% of professionals experiencing imposter syndrome, you’re in the right place.

It’s not your fault. Everyone, including people who had amazing childhoods, have limiting beliefs that keep them stuck until those beliefs are transformed into supportive beliefs.

Limiting beliefs are to you what kryptonite is to Superman.

The solution is easier than you may think with my "Break Free" MethodTM.  Affectionately called the "Set It and Forget It" method. More about that later.

Let’s achieve your goals and dreams by addressing the actual root cause of imposter syndrome, your meanings that created your limiting beliefs and the experiences that caused them. By having your meanings and stories updated for you, you will feel confident, genuine, deserving, like you belong, and have a realistic assessment of your own competence. You will enjoy being recognized for your efforts, see mistakes as learning opportunities, and appreciate your own value and the value others provide.

It’s time for you to free yourself from the doomsday thinking; that you will always be this way. Imposter syndrome is NOT a life sentence.

When the causes of your limiting thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are identified, updated, and replaced with supportive meanings, beliefs and experiences, your professional life will transform. You will feel confident about achieving your goals, and your stress level will drop.

By having your meanings transformed into empowering meanings, feelings of being a fraud, undeserving, and not belonging will fade away.

Story 1

My client Veer, a CTO, told me he had imposter syndrome and was becoming more depressed and detached from his family, friends, and colleagues.

He thought imposter syndrome was an irreversible mental illness. I helped his subconscious release his meanings around the label. He felt like a big weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He felt more optimistic.

During our sessions, I found out Veer had some experiences as a child that caused the limiting beliefs making him feel like a fraud and incompetent. One experience Veer remembered was feeling embarrassed when his was given the same award in grade school when other children had performed much better than he.

After rewiring his beliefs and experiences, now Veer feels good about himself. Veer is now able to connect authentically with his family, friends, and colleagues.

Secret 1

The diagnosis and labeling of imposter syndrome adds fuel to the fire. The characteristics of imposter syndrome are reversible. The limiting beliefs that cause the experiences of imposter syndrome are typically caused by childhood experiences that created limiting beliefs in the subconscious. This programming keeps you stuck in mediocrity.

This is the same for any other limiting mental obstacle. It’s my experience that labeling imposter symptoms will make them more entrenched in the mind, causing a feeling of hopelessness. I will help you drop the diagnosis and label so we can get to the root cause and transform it, so you can feel good about yourself.

Story 2

Over 20 years ago, when I was studying the human mind, I discovered that all limiting beliefs are stacked upon the queen bee of limiting beliefs: the feeling of not being good enough.

After testing and tweaking several approaches to rewiring limiting beliefs, I realized there is a web of hundreds of limiting beliefs leading to the head honcho limiting belief: feeling not good enough. I learned that I first must work with the subconscious to identify and unravel a handful of the most potent limiting beliefs and release them, causing a domino effect that removes many others quickly. Only then is the feeling of not being good enough transformed.

Secret 2

When the biggest core limiting belief of humans is not feeling good enough, it’s inevitable that humans experience a deep, haunting feeling of being a fake. When you don’t feel good enough, no matter what you do, there’s a sense of not being worthy, deserving, belonging, and being less than, causing a level of disconnection and isolation from oneself and others.

The polar opposites are in play. You are worthy and enough intrinsically, and the human condition of feeling not enough creates the journey to realizing your greatness. I will help you make a much smoother and quicker transition to feeling good enough and successful.

Below are some examples of limiting beliefs and experiences that may have caused feelings of imposter syndrome.

Limiting Beliefs

- I’m going to be found out.

- Everyone is smarter than me.

- I hope I can pull it through next time.

- I screwed up again.

- OMG, I made a mistake. I can’t let anyone find out.

- I don’t belong here.

Experiences

- You were ignored as a child.

- You were accused of lying repeatedly when you weren’t.

- Your parents celebrated your minimal accomplishments.

- When you achieved, you were told you didn't deserve it.

- You were treated with less interest than others who achieved the same things.

What are some limiting beliefs and experiences that may have caused your feelings of imposter syndrome?

What will change in your work-life when you don’t experience these limiting beliefs any longer?

The good news is that there’s now a Done-For-You method that will align your subconscious with your goals and vision by shedding the imposter syndrome self-sabotage thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Secret 3

Removing the label of imposter syndrome and addressing the root cause of the behavior will skyrocket your confidence.

The most common symptoms of imposter syndrome are anxiety, perfectionism, fear of failure, and self-doubt. Many people can have these same symptoms, causing very different experiences, such as challenges with procrastination, fear of public speaking, lack of money, and countless others.

Removing the label of imposter syndrome from a person’s identity will indeed lift their spirits.

I will do this with my 3-Step Imposter Syndrome “Break Free” method to identify and rewire the limiting meanings that help create one's identity. Then, I will replace it with meanings that connect a positive identity to oneself. Your self-identification becomes supportive and aligned with your goals and visions.

Treating the root cause of the symptoms in the same way; we will help the subconscious release the experiences of imposter syndrome and replace them with experiences that support feelings of authenticity and confidence.

Many people put a lot of effort into trying to change their limiting thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to level up and have a more successful work-life, not realizing that it's nearly impossible for them to identify the root causes of their limiting beliefs.

This can turn into a rabbit hole that spirals out of control for years, chasing and trying to fix everything except for the actual root cause.

The result is that your efforts have given you the ability to manage your limiting beliefs. This means that the need for your consistent attention will always be part of the equation.

I never liked this equation. That's why I developed a 3- Step method that will remove the root causes of your limiting beliefs for you.

Instead of going upstream, now you will be going downstream with the flow of life.

Bonus

- No effort on your part between sessions

- The heavy lifting is done for you

- Different than other approaches

- I don’t education; I transform

Break Free Step 1:  I will identify what is triggering your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are negatively impacting your life and trace it back to your limiting meanings and the experiences that caused them. I will ask your subconscious defining questions that will help it recognize the beliefs that are not true and release them.

Break Free Step 2:  We will create your new supportive beliefs and childhood stories in fun and interesting ways that are aligned with your goals and vision.

Break Fear Step 3:  I will set your subconscious on autopilot to greatness.

Let’s Summarize Today's Talk:

Secret #1: You will feel better once I remove the label of imposter syndrome for you.

Secret #2: The universal limiting core belief of humans is "not being good enough".

Secret #3: Remove the label and cause of the symptoms, and your confidence will soar.

A Poem for Your Journey

"In shadows cast by doubt and fear,

A truth emerges, crystal clear.

You're more than what you think you are,

A radiant, unyielding star.

Imposter thoughts may cloud your mind,

Strength and wisdom you will find.

Transform beliefs that hold you tight,

And soar to unexpected heights.

Let go of labels, break the chain,

Embrace your worth, dissolve the pain.

For in your heart, the truth does gleam,

You're worthy, strong—fulfill your dream."

I invite you to embrace this opportunity to transform your life and achieve your dreams.

Dawn Dawson: Certified: Imposter Syndrome Subconscious Success Coach

"Stop Managing Imposter Syndrome"

Dawn's Story

I’ve been a Subconscious Peak Potential Specialist for 14+ years.

I help business professionals 10X their impact by 1st. Finding and rewiring their limiting meanings, 2nd. Creating their new supportive meanings and stories to support their goals, and 3rd. Putting their subconscious on autopilot to greatness. All in record time!

I do all this for my clients. I call it my "Subsoncious 3-Step Break Free Method" which is the “easy button” to transform limiting beliefs. My Break Free Method takes the burden off my clients having to manage and practice endless techniques just to keep their head above water.

The defining moment in my life happened when I was 7 years old. My family was full of fear about everything. We were constantly verbally attacking, blaming, assuming, distrusting, and accusing one another. It was scary and felt unsafe for all of us. I also experienced these behaviors with friends and at school.

Everyone including myself felt held back in at least one area of our lives. “It seemed like we were all destined to live our lives in the state of recurring struggles.” I remember thinking when I was 7 years old “there’s got to be a better way”. I knew at that moment that I was destined to find a solution.

In my late teens I started studying psychology and how the different brains worked. When I learned about the subconscious mind being responsible for 97% of everything we think, feel, and do, I realized this explained why people were stuck in “the groundhog's day of life”.  It's the habit mind and its highest purpose is to keep you safe. Your subconscious mind makes everything you say, feel, and do fit a program that was coded in your childhood to match your self-concept.

I’ve tried all the horse and buggy approaches to reprogramming the subconscious. These approaches are still being used today. Repetition, mental, emotional, and physical pattern interrupts, learning new habits and skills, and meditation. These approaches can be helpful as long as you consistently use them over time. Many times when you stop, the old thoughts, feelings, and behaviors come back, don’t they? I found out that these approaches used the conscious mind which is only responsible for 3% of everything you think, feel, and do. Using your conscious mind to rewire your limiting beliefs is like digging a hole to china with a toothpick.

I also learned that most people are unable to consistently stick with doing all the techniques to get the results they're looking for.  I saw this as an opportunity to help others experience subconscious freedom. I went to work learning, testing, and developing a much faster and more effective approach.

I'm grateful that my unique Break Free Method helps my clients experience massive improvements in their areas of recurring struggles. Which has resulted in reaching their goals and ultimately increasing their impact.

I've always been a person that has championed for myself and others to live a happier and more abundant life. This is my greatest value. I'm also an empath. I can see and feel things that most cannot. The combination of both of these traits led me to develop the powerful transformational 3-step Break Free Method where I update a person’s subconscious for them so they can experience their true potential.

I'm kind of like an engineer in that I want to find the best, most effective, and quickest way to get results for my clients.

I have committed my life to opening up the floodgates to true potential. I believe this can only be achieved by finding the root causes of limiting beliefs and replacing them with new supportive beliefs and stories that support one's ability to experience their greatness, consistently.

I firmly believe that everyone has much greater potential than their old subconscious programming allows.

If you want your subconscious to support your dreams and desires, I invite you to schedule a consultation with me to learn more.

On the call, I will help you get clarity on what areas you are being held back in and how I can find and update the causes, so you can feel like you belong, confident, deserving, safe, and worthy.
